For just about everyone, going to work yesterday after the long weekend was rough. After so much barbecue, holiday relaxation and time with family and friends, it was a tough reality to realize that in the real world, play has to be balanced with some hard work.
The +Beryll crew was back at work in the studio and showroom working on next adventures and developing new hand crafted pieces, but one team member, the new design assistant Sergeant, still felt like he was laying on the beach somewhere…
Sergeant plays a vital role on the +Beryll design team assisting chief designer Sigmar Berg in creating and perfecting each piece before it becomes available in the showroom and online. Some of his favorite pieces are the +Beryll leather bags, including the +Beryll Tote and the Adam Computer Bag. The hand-painted leather and sleek, timeless design is literally the stuff of dreams for this four legged designer.
Sergeant also loves +Beryll shades. He’s often trying on the limited edition frames and posing in the mirror. A custom order was supposed to be picked up but Sergeant was nowhere to be found, until another design assistant found him here, wearing his favorite Hunter Shades in Black/Purple. +Beryll shades are especially perfect for the days Sergeant chooses to nap in the sun, since the premium lenses provide a 100% UVA, UVB and UVC filter against harmful rays. Also, considering Sergeant is chief apprentice to designer Sigmar Berg, he learns first hand about the architectural qualities of the shades, and why fine materials such as hand-polished acetate and surgical steel set these frames apart from any others in the world.
