From Basel, With Imagination - +Beryll Worn By Good People

From Basel, With Imagination

As the art world gathered in Switzerland for Art Basel 2025, we found ourselves immersed in a world that speaks directly to the Beryll spirit: intentional, refined, and quietly making a statement.

This year’s fair favored the poetic over the performative—curated booths, intimate materials, and timeless forms reigned. From handwoven textiles to sculptural silhouettes, the art echoed the same principles we live by: craftsmanship, story, and simplicity with depth.

Highlights we loved:
– Poetic painting by Billy Childish “Venus and the Crescent Moon” at Neugeriemschneider Galerie
– Mimmo Paladino “Testimoni” sculptures at – raw, bold, and human

– Pierre Soulages masterpieces at Applicoat-Prazan
– Subtle wave of surreal storytelling in hand glazed ceramic— Leonardo Devito “Gatto Mangia Angelo”, 2024, showcased by Giaccia Levi Gallery - reminding us of The Milk of Dreams

Further hightlights during Art Basel - The Vija Celminc exhibition at the beautiful Beyeler Foundation and the Art Basel Breakfast at the Kunstmuseum Basel showcasing the collection of Marguerite Arp-Hagenbach

As always, we bring these inspirations home—to the way we design, select materials, and shape every garment in our collection.
Beryll is not just fashion—it is a philosophy.

Thank you for being part of a community that values art, story, and beauty that lasts.
