Beryll Travel Series: Budapest
A Travel Diary by Beryll Founder, Petra Berg
Budapest, August 2025
Budapest is a city of dualities, where old-world grandeur meets modern creativity. The Danube flows between Buda’s castle-lined hills and Pest’s lively boulevards. I came to Budapest to immerse myself in the city’s art scene, from contemporary galleries to stunning landmarks. Budapest moves at its own rhythm: elegant, dramatic, and endlessly inspiring.

WHAT I WORE
What I wore reflected the city itself: timeless silhouettes with a quiet edge, ready to move from day into night.
-
Julie Dress in Pearl with Ali Cashmere Wrap Top in Abalone
Worn for dinner at Felix, this pairing carried me through the evening with understated sophistication. -
Liz Pants with Cami Top in Copper
My choice for exploring the Castle District and lunch at 21 Restaurant - comfortably relaxed yet polished. -
Lily Cardigan in Almond
The Lily Cardigan in Almond became my go-to for cooler evenings. A lightweight layer that adds warmth without sacrificing style. -
Tina XL Scarf in Black
A versatile layer, soft and lightweight, perfect for some extra warmth on a breezy day or in the evening.

The striking Hungarian Parliament, a Neo-Gothic masterpiece along the river. -
